Whatever destroys liberty isn't love. It must be something else, for love and liberty are great friends, two wings on the same dove.
Everytime you should see love in conflict with you liberty, it means you're doing something else in the name of love.
Crying and groaning is a natural thing, an escape valve to make sure all the accumulated feelings, sadness, can be expelled from the system: it's a deep cleansing. Every men and woman should learn to cry perfectly.
And to enjoy it! It's so refreshing, it lightens you up!
And after crying, not only do your eyes become fresh, but all your being becomes pure, simple, innocent.
You go back to have the verginity you once had and that you've now lost... you return to being unblemished.
After a good cry you fell like after you've had a good bath, almost as if the soul has just had a shower.
Millions of people suffer: they want to be loved but they don't know how to love.
And love cant exist as a monologue; it's a dialogue full of harmony.
In love don't be a beggar,
be an emperor.
Give and simply stay
to see what happens...
If you love you'll know that everything begins and everything ends and there's a moment for a start and a moment for an end and this doesn't create a wound. You won't be wounded, you know that season is over. You don't despair, you manage to understand and you thank the other: "You gave me your gifts, you gave me new visions of life, you opened new windows that I would have never found by myself. Now the moment has come for us to separate, our roads divide". Without anger, with no resentment, without complaints and with infinite gratitude, with great love, with the heart full of gratitude. If you know how to love, you'll know how to separate.
Watch the waves in the ocean. The higher the wave goes, the deeper is the wake that follows it. One moment you are the wave, another moment you are the hollow wake that follows. Enjoy both, don't get addicted to one. Don't say: I would always like to be on the peak. It is not possible. Simply see the fact: it is not possible. It has never happened and it will never happen. It is simply impossible, not in the nature of things. Then what to do? Enjoy the peak while it lasts and then enjoy the valley when it comes. What is wrong with the valley? What is wrong with being low? It is a relaxation. A peak is an excitement, and nobody can exist continuously in an excitement.
Parents should be conscious of how they condition their children. To a child should be given every freedom of trying the good and the bad, so they might decide by themselves. Let them find their way: you must only be careful that they don't fall in a ditch! Never say anything to your children that isn't an existential experience of yours. Accept your ignorance, this will bring you more respect, more faith in what you are. A parent's ego would want to know everything! Be respectful to your children; parents expect the children's respect, but they forget it should be mutual: respect your children and they'll respect you! Trust your children and they'll trust you, so there can be communication.
We are all taught to be eduacated, not to be innocent or to percept the beauty of existence; we are taught the names of flowers; of trees and not how to enter in contact with them, in syntony with existence. Existence is a mistery and it isn't accessible to those who want to constantly analize, pick, but only to those who are willing to fall in love with it, to dance with it.
Between two words is a pause, even if little, imperceptible. Otherwise words wouldn't be two, but would become one. Two words or two notes couldn't be two if there wasn't a break between them. There's always a silence, but you must really be conscious, and careful, to substitute it.
Go back to being a child and you won't run away from yourself anymore.
You'll run away into yourself-this is the life of who meditates.
The man of the world runs away from himself whilst the researcher runs into himself to find the fountain of life, of consciousness.
And when he discovers the fountain of life, not only has he discovered the fount of his life, he's also discovered the fountain of life in the universe, of the entire cosmos.
An immense celebration is born in him.
Life simply becomes a song, a dance, moment after moment.
